A new tradition, an ALL-SCHOOL REUNION

The plan is to hold this event every 5 years.

Why??  As our community ages and the graduating classes dwindle, some classes are unable to launch a formal reunion. An all-school reunion provides a time to meet with acquaintances and friends from years before and years after you graduated as well as your classmates.

The Wakefield-Marenisco School Board of Education and administration have indicated they will make school facilities available so that you may visit your old classrooms and tour the facilities.

What can you do...

  • Make plans to attend.
  • Consider making a donation to the Wakefield 4th of July Committee, whi is serving as fiduciary for the event. (Any funds raised over and above event expenses will be earmarked for permanent scholarship honoring the late Harry B. Sutter.
  • Names of donors and reunion-related messages will be acknowledged in the all-new Wakefield News/Bessemer Pick & Axe.
  • Share old school photos and memories with your classmates through the WNBPA.  Plans are to reproduce photos to be enjoyed during the reunion.
